Low Impact Development
Projects
Brenton Associates' work has, over the years, demonstrated how a regenerative site design protects resources and natural systems, and creates value for the client. Brenton Associates' design process follows criteria proposed by the Sustainable Sites Initiative. Key elements of this process are:
* Pre-design assessment and planning. = Thorough Resource Inventories
* Protect and restore site processes and systems.
As a spokesman for 'Smart Growth' and sustainable design, Charles Brenton has appeared before zoning boards, and assisted clients to gain entitlements for many worthy projects. |

Candler's
Yard, Baltimore, MD
This project within a stone's throw of Baltimore's Inner Harbor
involved the transformation of an old alley into a delightful community
courtyard. The developers had purchased rowhouses on both sides
of the alley and reconfigured the property to create a larger common
area. Brenton Associates worked with the community association
to create a vibrant commons. |
