Housing Landscape Design Projects

Brenton Associates, Inc. has extensive experience in planning, design and permit approvals for housing. Services have ranged from the preparation of community design guidelines following 'New Urbanist' principles to site development plans for properties with severe environmental constraints. Brenton Associates have coordinated identification and inventory of environmental features and prepared mitigation plans for many challenging sites. Mitigation projects have included both wetlands establishment and reforestation projects. On one site, Brenton Associates coordinated the successful transplanting of 1.4 acres of new growth forest.

Candler's Yard, Baltimore, MD

This project within a stone's throw of Baltimore's Inner Harbor involved the transformation of an old alley into a delightful community courtyard. The developers had purchased rowhouses on both sides of the alley and reconfigured the property to create a larger common area. Brenton Associates worked with the community association to create a vibrant commons.

Morningside Senior Assisted Living Facility, Harmans, MD

Brenton Associates services on this project began with feasibility studies and preparation of a site development plan. Services extended through forest conservation plans, coordination of environmental permits, and detailed landscape design.
